Shana Whitmarsh

Who is Shana Whitmarsh? Shana's foundation is in art, marketing and advertising. Technology "clicked" with me early on. She managed in-house marketing for mid-size and large tech companies before starting my own businesses, all of which have introduced new technologies. The first company introduced arguably the first content management system with several automated functions for a weekly newspaper that won the New England Press Association's Best Weekly Newspaper award in 2001 and 2002. Next, Shana Whitmarsh brought streaming video to the Internet when she published the first online video magazine for women's surfing in 2002-2003 when most websites weren't using streaming video. The full-screen streaming video on Shana's online video surf magazine website turned heads long before streaming video became "viable" for most businesses. Next was a company that produced video content, developed video archives and offered live, satellite and VOD streaming video.

At Chromacor, Shana Whitmarsh helps clients achieve e-commerce success with responsive Google mobile-friendly e-commerce stores, and other online businesses including reservations systems. Shana is a master e-commerce developer and designer and she is also a visual branding and marketing expert, well-versed in online and offline marketing and promotions. Chromacor is a boutique company that specializes in giving clients personal attention and highly unique e-commerce design with a patent-pending process called #Chromasensual Design that applies a special treatment to images and design elements to enhance user experience and stimulate online purchases. More than just making products "look" better, Chromacor uses Chromasensual Design to heighten the impression that visitors get from images by with associations to touch, hearing, smell and taste.
